Sheer ribbon adds definition along the diagonal line of the pocket.

Los Angeles host Stephanie Rahmatulla shares some fresh ideas for embellishing tags.

    Vellum Tags with Letter Charms

    1. Cut string on tag and replace with a ribbon or decorative thread that coordinates with your layout.

    2. After threading the ribbon through the hole in the tag, add letter charm to ribbon. Tie ribbon and adhere the "charmed" tag to your page.

    Creating Journaling Pockets from Tags

    1. Purchase a tag and trace shape onto two colors of vellum, then cut along the traced lines.

    2. Cut a diagonal line across one of the tag you want to be the top of the journaling pocket.

    3. Apply adhesive along the bottom and both sides of the bottom piece of the cut tag and adhere to the un-cut vellum tag to create a pocket.

    4. Embellish as desired along the diagonal edge, then measure the inside of the pocket and create a journaling block that will easily fit inside.
