When it comes to scrapbooking, confetti is synonymous with festive! Here, Dallas host Michele Gerbrandt offers a technique to add a confetti-filled window to your page.

    Materials:

    2 sheets of paper
    Paper punch or template
    Acid-free glue pen
Clear page protectors cut into 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" squares
    Scissors
    Photo splits
    Confetti

    1. Place two sheets of paper together and punch through both using the paper punch. (Note: If using a template, draw on the top sheet but cut both sheets at the same time, so that patterns will align.)

    2. Turn pages and use glue and photo splits to adhere plastic squares over the back surface of the punched hole (figure A).

    3. Sprinkle confetti onto one of the plastic squares, taking care to keep confetti inside the parameters of the punched shape (figure B).

    4. Outline the punched shape on the plastic square with the glue pen. Turn the second page over onto the first so that the punched shapes are aligned.

    5. Press the two pages together to seal confetti between squares. Adhere two pages together at the outer edges (figure C).

    6. Finish page by adhering confetti pieces, then mount photos and cut and adhere title letters.
