    Figure B

    Ingredients:

    Vinyl lunch bags
    Acrylic and fabric paints
    Cookie cutters
    Apron
    Cut fruits and vegetables
    Decorations of choice

    Preparation:

Pour the paint into bowls. Let your child choose his favorite cookie cutter(s) and then dip the cutter into the paint and press onto the lunch bag. They can decorate with googly eyes, buttons, etc. With the fabric paint, they can write their name on their bag.

For the aprons, you can use vegetables to block print designs onto the aprons. Lay out your design with the vegetables, fruits, etc. first (figure A). Just brush the paint onto the fruit or vegetable and then press the design onto the fabric (figure B). It is a good idea to experiment before you begin pressing the designs onto the fabric so you will know the right amount of paint to use. These aprons would make great gifts for your child to give.

We at DIY believe all of the recipes from All in Good Taste are accurate and reliable, but since we have not tested them personally, we can claim no responsibility if the desired results are not achieved.
