What is RSS?

Don't feel like checking websites every day for new content? Or do you simply not have time? Have headlines and highlights delivered to your virtual doorstep via RSS (Really Simple Syndication) news feeds. News feeds are free from HGTV.com, FoodNetwork.com, FineLiving.com, Great American Country and HGTVPro.com. They contain article headlines, summaries and links to the entire article. RSS news feeds are delivered in XML format for news readers and web logs (blogs).

After installing a news reader, feeds from DIYnetwork.com can be added by clicking on "DIY Network Highlights" (above). You'll be taken to a page that may look like a lot of computer code. Don't worry! Just cut and paste the URL (web page address) of that page into the appropriate place on your newsreader.
