Jessie Mack Burns

Jessie Mack Burns is a horticulturist at a theme park in Florida, where she has spent more than a decade primarily concentrating on special gardening events and is now in charge of all hanging basket production there. She also has assisted with greens prop crews on programs, such as Wheel of Fortune, Live with Regis and Kathy Lee, and TV pilots such as Dolly Parton's Heavens to Betsy, and That's My Dog.

Jessie majored in general horticulture and in college helped manage Western Kentucky's university greenhouses. She's been a presenter at both the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando and Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, speaking on water gardening. Her horticulture background has also allowed her to lecture and give demonstrations on many other gardening basics, from colorful hanging baskets to an intriguing topiary demonstration for Rebecca's Garden Magazine.

Jessie has been a recurring guest on HGTV's Way to Grow program, as well as a familiar face during live tapings of the 1999 and 2000 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival hosted by Paul James. She has been mentioned in the Hartford Courant regarding her amazing landscaping talents and Essence magazine has done a one-page profile article about Mack and her work. Jessie has also contributed to The For Sale By Owner Handbook.

Jessie likes to keep busy, so in addition to all her other projects, she hosts DIY Network's Weekend Landscaping.
