    Figure A

Here's a card that smells as good as it looks. Mary Lyon, host of DIY Crafts , explains how to make a greeting card using natural scented items.

    Materials:

    Card stock
    Cinnamon sticks
    Whole cloves
    Pink peppercorns
    Coffee beans
Computer-generated greeting or handwritten message printed on paper
    Decorative-edged scissors
    Hot glue and gun

    1. Arrange cinnamon sticks on a rectangular piece of card stock, placing two sticks on each side. Hot-glue in place (figure A).

    2. Arrange whole cloves, pink peppercorns and coffee beans in a pleasing design inside the border created by the cinnamon sticks. Hot-glue in place.

    3. Hot-glue the printed message in the center, and decorate around it (figure B).
