Here's a tip for players having trouble with the direction of their shots. It's obvious that if the clubface is square to the target at impact, the ball will go straight. However, it's difficult, when you're in the middle of your swing, to know exactly where the clubface points. Try this. At address, notice that the palm of your right hand points the same direction as the face of the club. Therefore, if you drive your right palm toward the target through impact, the clubface will be pointing down the target line and your ball flight should be straighter. Give it a try!
