To add the trapunto design to the front:

    1. Cut a piece of Sulky Soft 'n' Sheer cut-away stabilizer comfortably larger than the motif.
    2. Lightly spray with Sulky KK2000 and adhere to the wrong side of garment front, behind the motif area.
    3. Using a water-soluble pencil, trace the motif design onto transfer mesh.
    4. Place traced transfer mesh on the right side of garment front, centering over the drawn centerline and placing top of motif at marked dot.
    5. Using the water-soluble pencil, again trace the motif, transferring design onto the fabric.
    6. Thread the machine twice, placing the two strands of rayon thread through the single eye of the needle. (Partially fill a bobbin with the decorative thread for the "second thread".)
    7. Using a 3.0mm stitch length, straight-stitch the motif. (Do not backtack at the beginning or ending.) Pull thread tails to the wrong side and tie to secure.

    To stuff the Tulip Petals:

    1. Carefully cut a 1"-long slit in the center of the stabilizer only.
    2. Insert a blunt-tipped instrument between the stabilizer and fleece to release the adhesive.
    3. Insert a small amount of stuffing and hand-stitch opening closed.

    To stuff the Leaves:

    1. Insert the blunt end of a tapestry needle between the stabilizer and the fleece and wiggle to release the adhesive.
    2. Thread yarn through the tapestry needle.
    3. Working from the wrong side of garment front, insert the needle into the stabilizer at one pointed end of a leaf and exit at the opposite end, pulling a double strand of yarn through the narrow channel, between the stabilizer and the fleece. Clip yarn tails close to entrance and exit holes.

Sew front to back at shoulder seams per pattern directions.
