Work a sc edging around panel. Repeat for a total of two panels.

Start to join panels with slipstitch seam around top and shorter side: hold the sides of the panels together with the right or wrong sides facing each other, depending on the effect you want for the hat. Work a row of slipstitch, going through both loops of each stitch on each piece. You can also join them together by crocheting through the back or front loops of each stitch, this will create a flatter seam.

    Putting it on:
Get your hair in a bun, then put the wrap on, like you would a hood. With both hands, grab the ends of the wrap and cross them behind your neck, under your bun, pulling as tight as you would like (figure A). Pull on the ends until they're tight up against your bun. Bring the ends up and cross them (figure B). Bring the ends down under the bun and tie them. Tuck in any loose ends (figure C).
