Measure the waist of the wearer. Cut a length of elastic equal to this measurement + 1-1/2". Overlap ends 1/2" (to form a ring) and sew together, making certain elastic is not twisted. For the next round, place elastic ring on top Rnd 72 (74, 76, 78, 80).

The st of the next round are worked into Rnd 72 (74, 76, 78, 80) and over elastic (figure A). Take care to keep elastic from twisting.

Rnd 73 (75, 77, 79, 81): Ch 1, 1 sc into each of the next 3 st, sc-red over the next 2 st, 1 sc into each of the next 34 (38, 42, 46, 50) st, sc-red over the next 2 st, 1 sc into each of the next 6 st, sc-red over the next 2 st, 1 sc into each of the next 34 (38, 42, 46, 50) st, sc-red over the next 2 st, 1 sc into each of the next 3 st, join with a sl st to first sc, do not
turn.

Rnd 74 (76, 78, 80, 82): Ch 1, (dc/rf around sc 2 Rnds below (skip all st of Rnd 49)) x 88 (96, 104, 112, 120), join with sl st to first fpdc, do not turn.

The st of the next Rnd are worked into both of the last 2 Rnds (the dc/rf and the sc of 2 rows below).

Rnd 75 (77, 79, 81, 83): Ch 1, 1 sc into each of the next 88 (94, 100, 106, 112) st, join with sl st to first sc, do not turn.

Rnd 76 (78, 80, 82, 84): Ch 1, sl st into same stitch as joining, (ch 1, sl st into next stitch) x 87 (95, 103, 111, 119), join with sl st to first ch.

Fasten off A. Weave ends.
