    Bartlett Yarns Fisherman 2-ply Denim: 1 skein (CC)

    Bottom of bag:
    With MC, ch 32, work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch across to beg.
    Turn, ch 1, work 1 sc in each across.
    Repeat above row until the piece measures 3.5" from beg ch row.

    Body of bag:
    Switch to CC, turn, work 1 sc in front loop only in each sc across.
    Work 3 sc into corner, turn work 90 degrees to work along short edge, 1 sc in each across.
    Work 3 sc into corner, turn work 90 degrees to work along long edge, 1 sc in each across.
    Work 3 sc into corner, turn work 90 degrees to work along long edge, 1 sc in each across.
    Work 3 sc into corner, do not join the round.
    Work 1 sc in each around (like a spiral) until bag measures 9" from beginning of body row, end.

    Strap:
    With MC, join yarn to one top edge of bag (on the long end) sc 6 sts into the edge.
    Work rows of 6 sc across until strap measures 19" long.
    Join to other side of bag with sl st.
