 Knit a sporty, comfy polo shirt with this Jenna Adorno design.

Materials: yarn - Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece MC- 3 skeins of Coral Sunset (#CW225) CC1- 1 skein of Cotton Ball (#CW100) CC2- 1 skein of Mint Condition (#CW870) U.S. needles: sizes 6 and 4 three small white buttonsGauge 5 sts per inch Shirt sizes - XS, S, M, L (30, 32, 34, 36)
Back With size 6 needles, CO 75 (80, 85, 90) sts and work 3 rows in stockinette. Make one turning row. (figures A and B)Continue working without further shaping until body measures 15 (15.5, 16, 16.5) inches from the bottom. Begin armhole shaping as follows: * (K1, SSK, work across to last three sts, K2tog, K1, purl back). Repeat twice more until 69 (74, 79, 84) sts remain. Work without further shaping until back measures 21.5 (21.5, 22, 22) inches from bottom. Begin shoulder shaping: Work across 20 (22, 24,26) sts, bind off center 29 (30, 31, 32) work remaining 20 (22,24,26) sts. Working each side separately, shape shoulders as follows: *(BO 7,8,9,10 sts, work remaining sts to end of row. Work back). Repeat. BO 6, remaining sts. Attach yarn on other side and repeat shaping.
Front (figure C) With size 6 needles and MC, CO 75 (80, 85, 90) sts and work 3 rows in stockinette. Make one turning row. Continue working without further shaping until body measures 13.5 (14, 14.5, 15) inches from the bottom. Begin armhole shaping as follows: * (K1, K2tog, work across to last three sts, SSK, K1, purl back). Repeat twice more until 69 (74, 79, 84) sts remain. When front measures 14 (14.5, 15,.15.5) inches begin placket shaping. Knit across 38 (41, 43, 45) sts, Place remaining (31, 33, 36, 39) sts on holder, turn, purl back. Continue working back and forth without further shaping until piece measures 1/2 inch from start of placket. Place buttonhole. Work an additional 1-1/4 inches, place second buttonhole. Work additional 1-1/4 inches, place last buttonhole. Begin neck shaping as follows: BO 5 sts, work back, BO 4 sts, work back, *(BO 3 sts) repeat twice more. Begin shoulder shaping: *(BO 7, 8,9,10 sts, knit remaining sts to end of row, purl back). Repeat. BO 6 remaining sts. Before reattaching yarn to other side of front, CO 7 sts. Working from right to left, knit remaining 31 (33, 36, 39) sts from holder 38 (41, 43, 45 sts total). Continue working back and forth without further shaping until piece measures 3 inches from start of placket. Begin neck shaping as follows: BO 5 sts, work back, BO 4 sts, work back, *(BO 3 sts) repeat twice more. Begin shoulder shaping: *(BO 7 8,9,10 sts, purl remaining sts to end of row, knit back). Repeat. BO 6 remaining sts. Sleeves With size 4 needles and MC, CO 52 (56, 60, 64) sts. Work 3 rows in K1, P1 rib. With CC1, work one row. With CC2 , work three rows. With MC and while continuing to maintaining pattern, work additional 3 rows. Change to larger needles. Inc one st each edge every 5 rows 3 times, 58 (62, 66, 70) sts total. Work without further shaping until sleeve measures 4.5 inches. BO all sts. Repeat for second sleeve. Collar Stitch shoulders together.
With size 6 needles and MC, PU 70 (72, 74, 76) sts around edge of collar (figure D). Do not pick up sts along the top side of the placket. Work back and forth as follows: *(K1, inc1, work across to last st, inc1, K1. Purl back.) Repeat for 12 rows. Change to CC2 and continue as established for 3 rows. Change to CC1, work for one row. Change to MC and work additional 2 rows. Work one turning row. BO.Finishing PU sts along edge on placket, purl back, BO. Stitch down bottom of placket to the inside edge. Sew sleeves and sides. Stitch hem on bottom in place. Sew on buttons. Steam collar to prevent curling.
