    episode DKNG-413

    Basic Information for Mod Knits

    Abbreviations:
K1inc1 Knit into the front and back of the same stitch (an increase of 1 stitch).
SSK Slip next 2 stitches from 1 needle to the other, one at a time as if to knit them; then place point of left needle through the front of both slipped stitches and knit them with the right needle from this position (a decrease of 1 stitch).
Turn Move the left needle to the right hand and the right needle to the left hand so you're in a position to knit in the opposite direction. Bring the yarn to the back.

Note: Be careful not to stop in the middle of a row, so as not to lose your place. Use a sticky note or marker to mark each row so you don't lose your place.

Thread tapestry needle with tail, and weave yarn in and out of tops of 5 triangles; tighten to close center hole (figure C). Make a knot to fasten. Weave in all ends.
