    From "Knitty Gritty"
    episode DKNG-311

    Pattern Notes

    • Bunny is knit with 1 strand of wool held with 1 strand of either angora or mohair, except for feet and inner ears, which are knit in a single strand of wool in a contrast color.

    • If using different yarns or even different colors than those shown, it is very important to test-felt a sample before beginning.

    • Bunny is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch. A circular needle is needed to keep from stretching the stitches while working the shaping.

    Stitches and Abbreviations Used

    RS or WS = Right side or wrong side
    x = times
    stockinette stitch in rows = knit on RS and purl on WS
    slip 1 = insert right needle into a st purlwise and move it from the left to right needle without working it
    psso = Pass slipped st over st just worked
    k2tog = knit two sts together as one
    inc 1 = knit into the front, then into the back of the same st to make two sts from one
    W&T = wrap & turn, as follows:

    • On a knit row, slip next st ([purlwise) onto right needle, bring yarn forward between the needles, return slipped st to left needle, move yarn to back between the needles, turn to work in the other direction.

    • On a purl row, move yarn to back between needles, slip next st (purlwise) onto right needle, bring yarn forward between the needles, return slipped st to left needle, turn to work in the other direction.
