*Remember, many yarns are seasonal and could be discontinued. Tail: (optional)
Using Iceland on 8" double-pointed needles, CO 3 sts. Work I-cord for 20". Transfer to working in the round with four double-pointed needles (one stitch on each of three needles, plus one working needle).
Add Splash, Shag, and Squiggle to the Iceland, carrying all four yarns together as one. Increase the first st on each needle every other row, until you have 15 sts. Work 3 rounds. Dec first st on each needle every other row, until 3 sts rem. Break yarn and pull through rem sts. Sew tail to back corner of mane.

Knit Bit: There's no question that knitting has universal appeal, but did you know that in the early '80s, NASA actually started experimenting with knitting to help improve the performance of its spacecraft? They figured that knitted fabric layers would provide even more strength to the body of the craft. That proves it: knitting is out of this world!
