Guitar-Strap Body Guitar-Strap Body From "Knitty Gritty" episode DKNG-102

Adding a second color of yarn isn't difficult -- you just loop the yarn over the needle (figure A) and start knitting it into the first color (figure B). You may want to tie a loose knot on the back to help hold it in place. Later you'll untie the knot and weave the ends in with a needle.

Stripe Pattern

Row 1: Knit
Row 2: K2, Purl 10, K2
Repeat 2 more times

Switch to MC.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: K2, Purl 10, K2
Repeat 4 more times

Alternating colors, repeat Stripe Pattern until body measures 2"-3" shorter than desired length. End with a MC stripe.
