In the second phase of this project, host Mayita Dinos and crew set to work creating attractive, solid ground for the entryway area.

    1. Grade and level the garden and path area.

    2. Lay each flagstone paver, being careful to choose each piece so that it seems to "match" the ground it's being set on.

    3. The edge of each flagstone should complement the shape of the flagstone of the one beside it.

    4. Check that each flagstone is level to avoid cracking. If it's not, fill in beneath it with sand and work it around until the stone is level.

    5. Plant the vines on the sides of the arbor, leaving the trellis sticks in place.

    6. Remove the trellis sticks, and start twining each stem onto the sides of the arbor.

    7. Plant the roses near the arbor entrance.
