  • Modern Baroque Dining Room: Mirror Detail
  • An existing wall mirror receives a "handy" treatment.
    From "Fresh Coat"
    episode DFCT-202

To create a focal point in the room, we're going to frame out the built-in mirror with a simple and very personal touch. One either side of the mirror there is a rectangular architectural detail that we'll paint in black with gold edging to resemble an antique frame. Each rectangle will be decorated with Kathy's and Rich's handprints to personalize the space. The columns will also be painted black and gold.
