    You can help keep your closet smelling fresh by lining it with cedar panels.

    Materials:

    Hammer
    Stud sensor
    Measuring tape
    Circular saw
    Safety glasses
    Cedar panels

    1. Use the stud sensor to locate and mark the studs in the closet.
    2. Measure the walls, and cut cedar paneling to size.
    3. Attach the paneling to the wall with nails. If you're using cedar particleboard (figure A), leave a 1/8" gap between the panels to allow for expansion and contraction. If you're installing cedar tongue-in-groove paneling (figure B), begin the installation at the floor, with the tongue-side facing down.
