  • Sophisticated Study: Wall Color
  • Teenager Mario gets a more mature bedroom/study.
    From "Fresh Coat"
    episode DFCT-205

Mario Rizzio is the last child living at home. His room--the same room he has been in since he was a baby--is a complete disaster. Now that he's finished his first semester of college, he decided it's time to clean up his act.

For decorative painter and host Shannon Kaye, the challenge is to change this mosh pit into a sophisticated area conducive to studying. Mario's love of music and theatre is Shannon's inspiration for a traditional English-style study, complete with painted wall panels, shelves with a musical twist and a writing desk with a faux leather writing panel (even the mirror gets a new updated look) (figure A) (figure B) (figure C).
