    Materials:

fabric (Waverly 669782 Harmony Spa; 2 types, one plain and one with a larger design)
    canvas or wood frame
    staple gun
    staples
    gloss varnish
    glue
    small paint roller
    scissors

    1. First cover the canvas with the plain fabric and secure with staples.

    2. Next cut out the design from the other fabric. The larger the design, the easier it will be.

    3. Position the cut outs on the canvas. Apply glue to the backs of the cutouts and press in place.

    4. Using the small paint roller, coat the whole canvas with gloss varnish. Let dry for at least an hour.

    Finishing Touches

Decorative pillows are added to the couch and chair, and big throw pillows are placed on the floor. Curtains are added to the windows, and two room divider panels — hung from the ceiling — separate the living room from the dining room. The dining table gets a makeover with a tablecloth, placemats and new covers for the seats. Runners are added to the TV stand, mantel and sideboard in the dining room. Lastly, the entry way by the front door gets a decorative railing.
