    (Continued from page 1)

Keith helps Kelly build a round coffee table upholstered with green vinyl. The table is made out of high density foam, plywood and wooden legs. To give it a decorative touch, trim is added around the top edge of the table.

    Materials:

    fabric (Waverly 669863 Linear Spa)
foam (pre-cut to the size you want your table)
    plywood (also pre-cut)
    spray adhesive
    staples
    wooden legs
    fabric glue
    scissors
    drill
    brackets

    1. First coat your precut plywood with spray adhesive. Then press the foam on top, making sure it's even all the way around.

    2. Cut your fabric large enough to wrap around the foam and plywood. Lay the tabletop foam side down on the fabric. (Make sure the fabric is face side down.)

    3. Tightly pull the fabric and staple to the bottom of the plywood. You will have to make pleats in the fabric for a cleaner look. Make sure to keep the pleats even as you go.

    4. Next screw the brackets for the legs into the bottom of the plywood. Be sure to position them evenly.

    5. Screw the table legs in place.

    6. Finally add decorative trim with fabric glue around the edge of the coffee table, if desired.
