    Materials:

fabric (Fabric.com V-657 Vinyl Lipstick Red)
    2 pieces of plywood (3/4")
4 baseball bats (precut to desired height)
    drill
    measuring tape
    staple gun
    screws (1-1/4")
    wood glue
    pen

    1. To determine the placement for the legs, measure in 2" from each corner and mark but don't drill yet. First predrill four holes on the longer sides and three holes on the shorter ends of the plywood. Drill through the top layer and just slightly into the second piece. Then remove the bottom plywood. Drill holes on the top piece at the Xs marked for the legs.

    2. Now drill holes in the center of each baseball bat.

    3. Spread wood glue on top of the predrilled holes on each leg. Then drive a 3" screw into the plywood until just the tip of the screw breaks through the other side. Position the leg over the screw. Push the leg firmly against the plywood and screw into place. Repeat the process for all the legs.

    4. Use 1-1/4" screws to join the two pieces of plywood.

    5. Spread the fabric on the work surface with the wrong side facing up. Then lay the table on it, top down.

    6. Staple the fabric to the table, starting with the long sides first. Always start in the center and work your way out.

    7. Work the fabric around the legs, and anchor it with staples. Miter the corners and trim any excess fabric as you go to keep the fabric tight.
