It is great for winter. The heated jacket has a Lithium battery inside the jacket that is the size of a deck of cards and fits comfortably against your body. It heats up to 140 degrees—so it keeps you very warm. Lots of sports players use this when warming up before the game. These types of vests and jackets are expensive—up to $200. But, if you are cold, sometimes you will do anything to stay warm.
