Wardrobe SwapSupplies: invitation clothing and accessories full-length mirror stations / signs for each area refreshments bags for people to carry things home - Send out invitations. Ask each guest to bring seven to 10 items of clothing, including accessories that they aren't wearing. Five to 10 people total is plenty. Try to invite people that are similar sizes and have similar tastes.
- If you have friends who are different sizes and might feel uncomfortable if invited, consider throwing a different type of swap (i.e., a purse, hat or toy swap for kids).
- Or you can hold a swap with a group of woman who are pregnant. Even if they are pregnant at different times, they can give out maternity clothes and get things back if they get pregnant again.
- Get OrganizedClear off your dining room table so you have a place to spread out.
- Set up the "Swap Station" with signsCLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, so people know where to put things when they arrive.
- Put out empty baskets to display accessories.
- Borrow or pick up two inexpensive full-length mirrors.
- Consider renting or purchasing a clothing rack to make it easy for people to see things and browse.
- Tidy up your bedroom or guest room for changing.
- Pick up some large paper shopping bags, so people could carry things home.
- Make it Fun!Make it a party and put on some music and pick up some simple refreshments.

- What to do With Leftover Items?Donate to charity or take to local consignment shop.
