Place a pair of faded blue jeans in the wash with a brand new pair of blue jeans. Make sure the new jeans have never been washed before. Wash as usual, or let them sit for an hour and then wash. The excess color for the new pair of jeans will transfer to the faded pair, adding life and color. Dry both pairs as usual.
- The Secret to No Iron Jeans. It is simpleall you need to do is fold the wet jeans in half as you would over a hanger and then fold them in half and lay them in the dryer. Stack the jeans in this way and then turn the dryer on. The jeans stay in the folded position as they dry.
- Zipper Helpers. If the zipper on your jeans is constantly falling down, spray hairspray on the zipper to add stickiness and hold. After you wash the jeans, you need to reapply. If your zipper is sticky and hard to pull, rub candle wax or a bar of solid soap on the outside of the zipper. This will help the zipper move more smoothly.
- To remove grass stains from jeans, rubbing alcohol works well. Put some on the grass stain and let is sit for a while and then work it between your thumbs. Launder as usual.
