    dry detergent and liquid detergent
    color safe bleach
    stain stick

    Removing Lint and Stains

    • Put on a clean pair of rubber gloves and dampen with a little water. Using both hands at once, brush your hands over the lint zone. This works well on furniture and pet hair as well.

    • Remove the paper backing off of an overnight mailer pouch. Gently dab along the lint zone. Lint will come right off and land on the sticky backing.

    • A damp synthetic nylon sponge also does the job. Gently brush it over the lint zone. The lint will get caught in the mesh fibers.

    • To remove ketchup, apply a generous amount of color safe bleach to the stain. Leave it on for ten minutes and then wash as usual.

    • To remove shoe polish, apply a "paste" of water and dry laundry detergent. Let is sit for ten minutes and then rinse in cool water. Apply stain stick and wash as usual.

    • For deodorant stains, apply liquid detergent directly to the area, and wash as usual.
