Creative Ways to Reuse Household Items

    • Plastic lids from coffee cans are great to use for coasters. They can also be used under plants to protect your tabletop.

    • Cylindrical potato chip cans can be used to maintain home office supplies. Cover with contact paper and then use to store pens, markers, paper clips, rubber bands, etc.

    • Film canisters are perfect for corralling loose change. They make it easy to carry change to the laundromat.

    • Wine corks are perfect for keeping pins and needles in place.

    • Empty egg cartons are great for storing jewelry, office supplies, etc. (figure A).
