Handy Uses for Re-sealable Plastic Bags

    Materials:

re-sealable or regular plastic bags in various sizes

    1. Remove pits from olives for a recipe. Fill a bag with olives and seal. Roll a rolling pin over it.

    2. Knead dough. Keep your fingers from getting sticky, by kneading pizza dough in the bag.

    3. Ice an injury. Fill a bag with ice to create a cold compress.

    4. Organize your electronic cables/manuals. Avoid having a jumble of cords and user manuals thrown in a box. After purchase, place the cord and manual into the bag. Label it with a marker. This way you will know what goes with what.

    5. Pipe frosting. Snip off a tiny corner to use a re-sealable bag as a pastry bag (figure A).
