    Materials:

    assorted flowerpots and saucers
    liners: paper towels or tea towels
    snacks

    Flower Pot Servers

    • Use brand new terra-cotta pots and saucers.

    • Wipe with a damp cloth before filling.

    • Line flowerpots with a colorful paper napkin or kitchen towel.

    • Fill with things like breadsticks (figure A), crudites, pretzels, etc.

    • They are also great for holding silverware.

    • For saucers--line with napkins or nontoxic leaves, and arrange cheeses or spreads on top (figure B).

    • The saucers can be used as a serving tray.

    • Smaller saucers also make great little coasters.
