Framing Memories
- Select the frame. If possible, go with one that has an acid free liner/matting. This will help prevent things from fading and aging.
- Before gluing anything down, take a little time to lay things out. Don't rush--haste makes waste.
- Some things you may include are: photo, ticket stub, playbill cover, note on cocktail napkin, menu, pressed flower, label from wine bottle, etc (figure A).
- Use acid free glue or photo corners to put the items in place.
- If you are writing anything, use a photo safe pen or marker.
- Embellish with fun stickers or captions. There are so many fun things to choose from. Check the scrapbooking section out at your local craft store.
Tip: These make a great gift.
