    Figure B
Q Look at the contents of the drawer and decide what works in the drawer and what should be relocated (figure B).

U Unpack the drawer. If you don't take everything out, you won't discover everything that's hiding in the drawer.

E Evaluate the items. Ask yourself, is it broken? Do I keep it? Should I donate it? Do I even know what it is anymore?

E Eliminate unwanted items. This is the hard part, but it is vital to reducing clutter.

N Neaten up the drawer. Choose appropriately sized containers for the drawer and organize like items such as crafts, pens, and small tools (figure C).

Tip: Remember, you don't have to reduce clutter all at once, so concentrate on taking small steps one day at a time.
