  • Starch
From "Talking Dirty With the Queen of Clean"

    • Spray, which should be used on the wrong side of the fabric to prevent possible flaking (figure A).

    • Liquid, which can be mixed with water to a light, medium or heavy consistency (figure B). For very stiff fabrics, empty a container of starch into the washing machine, wash, spin out the water but do not rinse, then dry and iron the fabric.

    • Sizing, which does not give a crisp starch finish but does put body in clothes (figure C). Spray on the wrong side of collars and clothes for firm body all day.

With these tips, you now have no excuse not to be polished and pressed.
