- Fabric Softener Sheets -- Keep these in your glove box and use them to clean the dashboard, air vents and polish the rearview mirror. You can store them in a plastic zip bag.
- Organize all your car washing items in one basket and the rags to wash and dry the car in a bag.
- In the wintertime, a bag of cat litter or old newspapers are good items to keep in your truck to use for traction.
Homemade Windshield Cleaning Solution Ingredients: 1 quart rubbing alcohol
1 cup water
1 tsp. liquid detergent Mix together and put it in the reservoir. It will not freeze, even at 30 degrees below zero, and it costs pennies to make.
