Garage Door The first thing you need to do is dust all the tracks to keep them free of dust and dirt (figure A). Read your owner's manual and see if it suggests a good garage door lubricant. If it does, buy some and use it accordingly. Don't keep things piled in the corner next to the door. If they were to top over when the door is opening, it could cause the door to jump right off the track. That could mean a very expensive repair!
