    To revitalize your workout, try using an exercise ball, says Ask DIY Fitness Expert Stacie Saunders. It can help you stabilize your spine by working abdominal and back muscles. For a flatter tummy, put the ball on the floor and lie on it so it supports your back. Make sure your feet are flat and your arms are in front of you. Slowly curl your chest up so you're in more of a sitting position, and then lower your shoulders and chest once more (figure A).

    Here's another good one: lie flat, face up, on the ball with legs straight and arms to the side or above your head. Slowly relax your shoulders and lower your back and backside. An exercise ball should cost $20-40.
