    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
    2 tsp. paprika
    puff pastry sheet

    Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

    Defrost the puff pastry.

Lay the pastry sheets out and cut into three long strips (or how many you want).

Place strips 2" apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet, and twist. Parchment paper will prevent the bottom of the puff pastry from burning.

Note: You can brush on beaten egg if you desire.

Combine 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 2 teaspoons paprika and spread over the pastry sheet.

Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, keeping your eye on them because they are delicate.

Other flavor options: sesame, poppy or caraway seeds, cumin or kosher salt. For a sweet breadstick, you can use sugar and cinnamon.
