The third and final step of the flooring is a high-gloss protective coat. Apply only if it is a good-weather day, and make sure coat number two is totally dry.

MaskProject time:2 hours. Steps 1. Pour the two cans together in a bucket and mix thoroughly for one minute.
2. After mixing, the protective coat must be rolled onto the floor within 90 minutes (figure A).3. It will take four to six hours before the floor can take light foot traffic. It can be driven on the next day. Tip: Close garage windows and doors during the drying process to prevent dust and pollen from sticking to the coating. Total time spent so far: 10 hours.
