    Materials:

    4" green, yellow and red tiles
    rubbing alcohol
    cotton balls
    paper towels
    red, yellow, green and blue enamel paint
    square floral stamp
    4 1/2" paint brushes
    rubber cement
    3 1/2" cork squares

    1. Clean the tiles using rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball (figure A). Allow to dry.

    2. Apply paints in the colored sections of the square floral stamp (figure B) by using the paint brushes to dab paint onto the various sections of the stamp.

    3. Carefully align the stamp over the yellow tile, and then set the stamp down onto the tile. Use one hand to hold the stamp in position and the other hand to press firmly onto all areas of the stamp. Lift the stamp straight up off the tile.

    Tip: If the design is smeared or off center, wipe it completely off and start over.

    4. On the green and red tiles, use the paint brushes to paint a swirl design from one corner to the opposite corner (figure C).

    5. Allow the paint to dry according to the package directions. For a more permanent application, bake the paint according to the manufacturer's directions.

    6. Once the paint is dry and the tile has cooled, apply rubber cement to a cork square, and then press firmly onto the back of the tile (figure D).

    7. Set the tile upright, and then allow the rubber cement to dry.
