    1. Inflate the balloons using the pump. Leave an 8" tail at the end of each balloon.

    2. Twist the black and white balloons together to create a garland (figure A).

    3. Use chenille stems to attach the garland to the chandelier.

    4. Weave feather boas through garland to finish it off in style.

Expert Tip: Inspiration can come from anywhere. You can get inspired from fashion. Look for trends such as bold geometric prints to color direction to fabric trends, etc.

    5. For the dining room table, line three black feathers up at the ends and secure with a rubber band.

    6. Fill the bowls with organza, and arrange black feathers in the base of the organza. Arrange the white feathers within the black feathers.

    7. Place a couple of these on your dining room table and then make a line of votive candles all the way down the center (figure B)

    8. When there is entertainment at a party, you want to draw attention to the area where they will be performing. We put some organza up at the windows behind where the band will be and tied them in the middle with the bubble balloons (figure C) like those used for the fountain.

    9. If you are considering hiring a band for your party, contact them well in advance and keep in mind that the type of band and the length of their performance will determine their rate.

Expert Tip: If you are going to have live musicians to entertain at your party, make sure they know enough of the selections of the type of music for your theme. It is best to avoid yes and no questions -- if they know particular music, ask specifically what they play.

Expert Tip: If you know you are going to a party that will involve dancing, keep that in mind with your wardrobe. Keep your shoes relatively simple -- something you will be comfortable in throughout the evening
