    1. Measure the walls to determine the center point and how many sheets and dowels you will need.

    2. We chose a corner wall and put drapes along each side. On one side of the wall, you want to create the illusion of a window. On the other side of the wall it will resemble a plain wall.

    3. Place hooks at the tops of the walls, allowing 2 hooks for each dowel needed. You need to place the hooks one hour before hanging the sheets to allow the adhesive backing to set.

    4. Fold the edge of the sheet over the dowels and pin to secure (figure A).

    5. Place dowels in hooks to hang up (figure B).

    6. Find placement for the sheers. Remove the sheets and use painters tape to hang the sheers and then hang the sheets back up. Tie the sheets back with the corded tassels (figure C).

    7. On the other wall, place a rectangular long table in the center of the wall and place a tablecloth and runner on it. Hang the silhouette portraits on the sheets, place a couple candelabras on the table, and you can hang a plant on the sheets between the two portraits (figure D). This table can be your dessert table.

    8. Use some sheer material to drape along the tops of the sheets in a scalloped design.

    9. The tables, chairs and all the accessories were rented from a local party rental store.

Expert Tip: When you are doing a party at your house, it is important that you keep your individuality. A great way is maybe just to move some furniture around, and renting a couple of tables from a caterer so you have some seating areas where people feel comfortable.

    10. In the center of your dinner table, place a charger and fill it with various sizes of white or cream candles. Place some ivy wherever desired.

    11. Make a place card for each guest out of the burgundy cardstock you used to make the label for the booklets. Cut the cardstock to fit small gold frames you will use for the place cards. Write each guests name in gold ink and place them in a small gold frame, and place each one in front of where you want the guest to sit (figure E).

    12. Place an amber glass goblet with a white votive candle in front of each guests plate.

    13. Place each dinner plate on a gold charger plate.
