    Materials for Invitations --

    3 bamboo skewers
    Cactus stripe vellum
    Natural hemp or twine
    Scissors
    Hot glue
    Double-sided adhesive

    Invitations

    1. Cut skewers into two 7" pieces and two 5" pieces. Lay out the pieces to create a frame shape, overlapping at the corners. Use hot glue to secure the corners.

    2. Wrap twine around each corner several times and knot (figure A).

    3. Print invitation information on vellum and cut slightly narrower and two inches longer than skewer frame.

    4. Place vellum on frame and fold top and bottom over top and bottom of skewers (figure B). Use double-sided adhesive to secure the folded vellum to the back of the invitation.
