    Materials:

    Measuring tape
    Dowel
    Beads
    Saw

    1. Measure the window.

    2. Cut a dowel to size or buy a curtain rod at the appropriate length.

    3. Visualize the beads and arrange according to the color preference.

    4. Loop the beads around the rod (figure A).

    5. Repeat with different beads, looping the beads to hang at staggered lengths.

    6. Hang the valance.
