Designer Samantha Gleisten adds glamour to the homeowner's room by creating a series of wall displays made from vintage suitcases.

 Vintage suitcases now hang from the wall to display some of the homeowner's travel keepsakes.

Materials:Suitcases Spray adhesive Fabric Hot glue Hooks Anchors Screws Hot glue gun Screw gun Drill bit
- Clean the suitcases. Use assorted cleaners to polish the exterior as needed.
- Separate the tops from the bottoms of the suitcases (figure A). Each suitcase is hinged together differently. Some may call for a simple bolt removal while others may require cutting.
- Remove the internal lining as needed.
- Recover the inside of the suitcase with vibrant, bold fabric using spray adhesive and hot glue. Carefully fold and manipulate the corners to create clean lines (figure B).
- Install the internal hanger hardware or hooks in some cases, by simply screwing small hooks where you would like to hang a purse.
Installation: - Pre-drill into the suitcase at each corner.
- Hold the suitcase up to the wall and determine placement.
- Mark your holes though the pre-drilled holes.
- Pre-drill your holes into the wall.
- Insert anchors into the wall.
- Screw the suitcase directly to the wall.
