    Materials:

    Vintage bike wheel
    Camping glow sticks
    Glass jars and lids
    Aircraft cable
    Crosby
    Polyurethane glue
    Black paint
    Paint brushes
    Drill
    Crimpers

    1. Pull off the tube part of a battery operated camping glow stick. Paint the base black.

    2. Drill a hole in the center of each jar lid (figure A) the same diameter of the base of the glow stick.

    3. Attach a Crosby to the end of a length of aircraft cable.

    4. Thread the cable through the hole in each lid (figure B).

    5. Insert the glow stick base into the hole of the lid, and then glue together using a polyurethane glue or super glue.

    6. Drill five to seven holes through the rim of a bike wheel (figure C).

    7. Thread the hanging cable through the holes and crimp with a Crosby.

    8. Drill a hole through the threaded rod of the bike wheel, and then string through the aircraft cable for installation.
