 Samantha's idea for additional seating proves how easily thrift-store chairs can be repurposed into beautiful pieces of furniture.

- Begin by pushing the seats together (figure A) and conceptualize the project.
- Remove the seats and canvas back and then paint the chairs.
- Attach the chairs together at the front legs. (In this project, simple wood screws were used.)
- Measure the seating area and cut one piece of MDF to form (figure B).
- Cut and cover the seat and canvas backs with faux fur. Use 1/2" staples since the fur is fairly thick. Staple alternating sides in order to ensure even distribution (figure C).
- Reattach the single seat and chair backs to complete the project.
