  • City Suite: Closet Doors
  • The illusion of a classic paneled Japanese shoji screen lend texture and fun to the closet doors in a tiny condo bedroom.

    episode DFCT-312

    Figure A
Seeking calming colors like the city panorama outside Desiree Motamedi's condominium, the Fresh Coat team gives the plain closet doors in her bedroom the illusion of a classic paneled Japanese shoji screen (figure A).

They start by painting them the same airy base color as the walls. Then, using a stamp pattern roller, they roll on a funky pattern in white for a fresh, trendy look.

    3. Cut in edges then roll on 1453 Pebble Creek in pearl finish. Let dry (figure B).
    4. Measure and draw plum lines to guide the rollerwall application (figure C).
    5. Carefully roll on Rollerwall pattern in White Dove pearl finish (figure D). Let dry.
