To add a touch of spice to the classic Italian-style kitchen makeover, the Fresh Coat team dresses up the plain white canisters with terra cotta textured paint (figure A). They add an aged effect by sponging with a smooth cream color.

X-I-M Primer
masks
drop cloths
1 can Rust-O-Leum American Accents Terra Cotta Textured Paint
small chip brushes
Benjamin Moore 513 Limestone

1. Spray with X-I-M primer. Let dry.
2. Spray with Rust-O-Leum American Accents Terra Cotta textured paint (figure B). Let dry.
3. Gently dry brush 513 Limestone with a touch of glaze to age (figure C).
