For a lively contrast to the bright and cool tones of the coffee table, the Fresh Coat painters remove the seats from the family’s country style chairs and paint them raspberry (figure A). An eggshell finish paint adds a fresh new sheen to the chairs.

Reveal: A good family friend will bring the girls down for a first look at their new play room.

Materials:

screwdrivers
drop cloths
painters tape
sand paper
tack cloth
Benjamin Moore 2004-30 Raspberry Pudding in Pearl finish
small foam brush

1. Remove seats if possible (or tape off).
2. Sand and wipe remaining chair surfaces (figure B).
3. Paint with 2004-30 Raspberry Pudding in pearl finish. Let dry and recoat for a perfect finish (figure C).
