A counterpoint to the breezy ceiling and serene walls, the Fresh Coat team paints Courtney's dresser and armoire a deep walnut wood color (figure A), giving the drawer fronts a coat of warm woodsy green. Then they mix a glaze with the walnut color and use a small squeegee to rake the mixture on the panels for texture. Once the glaze is dry they repeat the process,s this time raking horizontally to create a woven-cane effect.
